- General
- Ice hockey is a high risk sport and all players participating in training and
games do so at their own risk. Team policy requires the wearing of helmets at all times
during training and in games.
The membership minimum age recommended (by the EIHA) is 18 years, for the following reasons:
- To avoid taking what are potential junior players
- To operate outside the stringent implications of the Children's Act 1989.
- Registration
- To play in games against other teams, players must be registered to the Legion with the
English Ice Hockey Association (EIHA). Registration is recommended, but not mandatory for training sessions and
intrasquad games. Registration includes medical insurance in the event of injury on the ice, so the security
is well worth the price.
- Registration Categories
- A: Recreational standard players
- B: ED1 standard players
- C: Premier standard players
- Z: Foreign nationals

Completed player registration applications should be returned to the General Manager along with the correct application fee plus 2
colour passport size photographs. The EIHA will then issue a license card with a unique license number to the London Legion for that player. This license card is the property of the London Legion and not the individual.
- Photographs
- The Legion reserve the right to publish, without prior consent, any photographs taken during our games,
and "official" head photos. All non-game photographs will be approved by the subject before publication. In
group photos, approval will be determined by the General Manager.
The General Manager has veto authority over any photograph that may damage the team's image or reputation.
Photographs are copyright of the photographer, and may not be reused without their consent.
If you have any concerns about a photograph or caption, please contact the website administrator.
