London Legion

The Legion is a recreational ice hockey team comprised of male and female players of all ages and various abilities. Based in North London, we hold training sessions at the Michael Sobell Sports Centre, near Finsbury Park, and games at Alexandra Palace Ice Rink.

Originally known as the "Foreign Legion" we have a multinational tradition with players from Canada, USA, Japan, Finland, Russia, the Czech Republic and Great Britain- to name just a few!

We play competitive, non-checking hockey and can field a team to suit most - from complete beginners upward. Our "home ice", for games, is on a Wednesday night at 10:30pm - although we can occasionally arrange other slots. If you would like to play for or against us then please get in touch.
